Beginning July 15, 2014, small group clients may receive phone calls from Clark Resources to collect employee count data in order for Highmark to remain compliant with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
Highmark contracted with Clark Resources to get accurate employee counts and they will be reaching out to small group clients who have not yet responded to previous outreach by mail or have inaccurate or indefinite data on file. Clark Resources will identify themselves as calling on behalf of Highmark when they reach clients.
As a matter of course, Highmark sends an employee-count form annually to small group clients during the first quarter of every year. The accurate completion of this form is federally mandated and Highmark is required file this information with the government by December 31, 2014.
