Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex and PK Wellness Matters announced a partnership today to help meet the total wellness needs of local employers and the community as a whole. The two companies are teaming up to offer services that will help build better personal and community health and to help the greater good of the local community.
With healthcare costs continuing to rise, employers are looking for ways to control and lower these costs. One solution, corporate wellness programs, have become increasing more popular to help employers and employees reduce health risk factors, lower health insurance claims, increase worker productivity, and decreasing injuries at work.
“Body Zone’s mission to create an environment that is welcoming and supportive to all is the core principle of all of our wellness programming” said Debbie Stiller, Director of Wellness and Aquatics at Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex. “Wellness means different things to different people. We understand the importance of meeting individuals where they are and partnering with them on their path to personal wellness. Our partnership with PK Wellness Matters strengthens this effort and creates a valuable resource in our community.”
The Body Zone and Power Kunkle partnership will create a premier wellness team for Berks County that can meet a wide variety of needs for community members.
“Millions of people around the world are suffering from some type of chronic disease, whether its heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes or something else. Sadly a very large percentage of these conditions are preventable,” said Lori Kunkle, Senior Vice President of Clinical Wellness at PK Wellness Matters. “Our partnership with Body Zone will help bring together the resources individuals need to make positive lifestyle changes and help them avoid some of these chronic conditions.”
